Astrid Fina, medallista de bronce en snowboard en los Juegos Paralímpicos de invierno de PyeongChang 2018, es la nueva embajadora del proyecto deportivo del Centro de Deportes de Invierno Adaptados (CDIA) y del equipo nacional de snowboard.
Astrid, que se retiró en septiembre de 2020, se convirtió en embajadora durante el ‘Snow event’ celebrado en el restaurante Prat Aloy de Salardú (Valle de Arán), al que acudió el presidente de la Federación Española de Deportes de Personas con Discapacidad Física, Enrique Álvarez, así como el presidente de la Real Federación Española de Deportes de Invierno, May Peus.
Los integrantes del actual equipo de snowboard español son Emilio Redondo e Irati Idiakez, ambos de la FEDDF, y Raquel Martínez, perteneciente a la Federación Española de Deportes de Personas con Parálisis Cerebral y Daño Cerebral Adquirido.
El ‘Snow event’ sirvió también para poner en valor los proyectos deportivos desarrollados por el CDIA junto con las federaciones y agradecer a patrocinadores como la Fundación Jesús Serra su apoyo en la celebración de la Copa de España inclusiva de esquí alpino y el Campus inclusivo, que en esta edición ha sido un éxito con más solicitudes de participación que plazas libres.
Además también acudieron los diferentes patrocinadores del CDIA, cuyo compromiso con nuestro proyecto y como compañeros de viaje es indispensable. De esta forma hubo representantes de Pranarom, IMQ Ibérica, Motorsol, We Play More y hoteles Silken.
Al evento también acudió César Ruíz Canela, alcalde de Naut Arán.
