El calor, el estado de la nieve y la previsión de altas temperaturas para los próximos días impiden conservar en óptimas condiciones las pistas de esquí, obligando a tener que cancelar la celebración de la competición.
De esta forma, el circuito de la Copa de España inclusiva de esquí alpino Fundación Jesús Serra despide la temporada tras celebrar con gran éxito de participación las dos pruebas anteriores en Baqueira Beret en enero con 204 esquiadores, y en Sierra Nevada en febrero con 226 participantes.
La Copa de España inclusiva Fundación Jesús Serra es el único circuito nacional de esquí alpino en el que participan y conviven durante varias jornadas deportistas con y sin discapacidad. Está organizada por la FJS en colaboración con el Centro de Deportes de Invierno Adaptados (CDIA), la Federación Española de Deportes de Personas con Discapacidad Física (FEDDF), la Federación Española de Deportes de Personas con Parálisis Cerebral y Daño Cerebral Adquirido (FEDPC), la Federación Española de Deportes para Ciegos (FEDC) y la Real Federación Española de Deporte de Invierno (RFEDI).
