El deporte federado español, que está colaborando con la Secretaría de Estado para el Deporte y con la Secretaría de Estado de Digitalización e Inteligencia Artificial, pretende concienciar a todos los agentes que conforman su ecosistema -clubes, deportistas, organizadores- para extender la utilización de la aplicación entre la sociedad española.
«Desde que ha comenzado esta pandemia, el Deporte Español ha demostrado que quiere ser parte de la solución, así que seguimos a disposición de la sociedad para que nuestro Deporte se convierta en altavoz y ejemplo de buenas prácticas, pues la descarga masiva de la app Radar Covid nos ayudará a disminuir el impacto de esta epidemia«, indica José Hidalgo, Presidente de ADESP.
La aplicación tiene como objetivo ayudar a evitar la propagación de la COVID-19 entre la ciudadanía y funciona como herramienta en la detección de contagios por contactos estrechos.
Radar Covid avisa de manera anónima del posible contacto que una persona haya podido tener con otra infectada a lo largo de los últimos catorce días.
Se estima que, si el 20% por ciento de la población realiza la descarga de la aplicación, se conseguirá reducir el impacto de la pandemia en un 30% por ciento.
